Da sempre e ovunque l’assenza di comunicazione genera incomprensione, intolleranza, discriminazione, nazionalismo, odio, guerra, solitudine. Un’aberrazione inaccettabile che può essere combattuta solo attraverso l’educazione dei giovani ad opera della famiglia prima e della scuola poi.

poveri ma(il) belli vuole essere un atto di ribellione alla dilagante piaga della non-comunicazione; uno stimolo al dialogo, al contatto, allo scambio, al fluire delle idee, al confronto, alla multi-culturalità; un invito alle altre scuole, a coloro che nel mondo dell’arte operano da professionisti o per passione e a chiunque abbia voglia di mettersi in gioco, ironicamente e/o artisticamente (continua qui)

Liceo Artistico di Quartu Sant'Elena invites you to partecipate in it's first Mail-Art Project!
Poor but beautiful
MailArt is essentially an art without market, produced by authors that are often unknown, but based on creativity and use of alternative media.
Our project wants to stimulate the participation of artists from around the world to express themselves with their artworks through these possibilities, with the aim to involve as many people as possible to Make Art, with simplicity, spontaneity, and above all, creativity!
All works will be exhibited in two shows in February and March 2010, in the exhibit spaces of the Liceo Artistico di Quartu Sant'Elena and in a second institutional space. The organization is committed to give full resonance to the events. The works of MailArt, made with any technique and any kind of medium or measure, should be sent not later than January 31, 2010.
Participation, of course, is free.
NO RETURN, NO FEE, NO SELECTION, NO JURY

Technique: FREE (bidimensional, tridimensional, object books and artist's books, Artistamps, visual poetry, cartoons, collage, music, video, etc.)
